Six Weeks of Seduction by Ellis O. Day

CHAPTER 14:  SARAH

Sarah stared at the door. Nick was an ass and he could sit in his car and rot. She straightened her hair and splashed water on her face. She pulled her makeup from her purse, reapplied her lipstick and used concealer to cover the love bite. She refreshed her perfume and headed toward the banquet hall, feeling each step between her thighs. He’d been rough and she’d loved every second. She would’ve gladly, no eagerly, gone home with him, if he hadn’t been such a jerk. She stopped at the bar and got another drink and then found Peter. Dinner was over and everyone was mingling.

“Hey, you okay?” asked Peter.

“Yeah.” She was. She felt more confident and at ease even in the crowd. She would’ve never guessed that a quickie would do that to her.

“You sure? You were gone awhile.” His brown eyes were concerned.

“I’m sure. I ran into an old friend.” And he rammed into me, over and over and over again until we almost crumpled from release. She took a sip, hiding her smile.

“Let me know when you want to leave.”

“I’m good.” She wasn’t going anywhere until she saw Nick again. He’d be furious with her for disobeying and she couldn’t wait. “But if you want to get home to Maisie and Kyle, I understand.” Peter doted on his wife and son.

“I can’t leave you.”

“Really, Peter. I’m good.” She touched his arm.

“Is this old friend you ran into a man?” His eyes sparkled with mischief.

“That obvious?” She blushed.

He hugged her. “I’m happy for you, Sarah.”

“Don’t go planning the wedding. It isn’t that kind of relationship. Trust me.”

“Then he’s a fool.”

“No. He’s an ass.” But tonight he was her confident, controlling, dominant ass.

“Maybe, I should stay.”

The look of concern on his face warmed her heart. “No. I’ll be fine. He’s an ass but I can handle him.” She couldn’t wait to get her hands on him again, but this time she was calling the shots.

“I’m sure you can.” He kissed her cheek. “You’re the strongest woman I know.”

She blinked back tears. Peter was crazy. She was the weakest woman in the world.

“Do you want me to get a car for you?” asked Peter.

“No. I’ll call an Uber when I’m ready to go home.” She glanced away, embarrassed. “I may be late.”

He chuckled. “Stay out all night. We’ll stay with Tank. I’m sure Kyle is sleeping with him now.”

Tank did love her nephew. “I’ll be home tonight…or tomorrow morning.”

“Have fun.” He grinned as he headed toward the door.

She glanced at her watch. It’d been six minutes since she’d left the bathroom. Nick would be fuming by now. She tossed back her drink and went to the bar to wait.
