Alien Desire by Hannah Haze

Chapter twenty five - Tor

She loves me and I love her.

Perhaps I have known it for some time but did not understand what it was, what was happening between us. But now we have put it into words, named this pull towards each other, it has given it formation in my mind and in my soul. Something solid and immoveable that I think will be lodged in my heart for as long as it is beating.

There is nothing that can separate us, regardless of mating or marriage or a claiming bite. These things seem temporary, whimsical in comparison to the infinite permanence of this feeling for her. We have already overcome crashes, monsters and assassins. We will overcome anything together. The birth of our baby, the plot to kill me. I am not concerned. We will return to Astia together in triumph. I have found an Omega — the first for a decade and there may be many more like her.

I have found an Omega and made her mine and my baby grows in her belly.

But in return she has made me hers. There will be no other Omega for me. No harem, no collection. Just her.

And she is coming with me. This is what she has chosen. Me. Us.

I don’t send a message to my planet to inform them of the assassination attempt. Most likely those behind it will understand for themselves that their plan has been unsuccessful, but I hope to take them unawares anyway.

So we pack up what little we have in this station, Emma insisting on tidying and cleaning and leaving a helpful log with Sheila for whoever visits this planet and this station next.

“Is this what you plan to wear?” I ask when we are ready to depart.

“What do you mean?” She glances down at the bright orange overalls that swamp her frame.

“We are returning to the Gryton Court.”

“What’s wrong with what I’m wearing?”

“You look like a wurange.”

“You don’t like what I’m wearing?” she says, pouting.

“I like removing what you are wearing.” I grin at her and hook my arm around her waist. “Don’t worry; we’ll get you something suitable to wear when we arrive.”

“You’re going to take me shopping?”

“I will send for the tailor when we arrive.”

A shadow passes over her face. “Are you sure it’s safe?” she asks me for the one hundredth time. “They’re not going to attack you or arrest us as soon as we land?”

“No,” I say simply and possibly a little more confidently than I am. “I have my allies. No one will dare to make a move against me on Astia.”

“But someone wanted you dead.”

“I am coming back with an Omega, Emma. The first we have found for a decade. I will be a hero. I will be untouchable.”

She chews on her bottom lip. “And they won’t try to take me from you, you’re sure about that?”

I draw her closer, growling lowly. “I’d like to see anyone try.”

“They might though. Try, I mean.”

“And I will kill them if they do.”

I lift her chin and stare into her hazel eyes. She smells ripe for the taking and I wonder if I could fuck her one more time before we leave this planet.

She knows exactly what I’m thinking and arches an eyebrow. “I thought you wanted to get going.”

“Turn around, Omega,” I command, walking her towards the wall. Unzipping the hideous overalls and yanking down her underwear, I tell her to open her legs and reach up on her tiptoes. Even then she’s too low for me and I’m forced to bend my knees to line myself up and thrust my way inside. Still, she’s forced up further onto her toes, leaning into the wall for purchase, speared entirely by my cock.

I love nothing better than this Omega at my mercy. She is fierce and stubborn. A scrappy little fighter who’s saved me twice. And yet she’s willing to submit to me, to trust that no matter how far I push her, I’ll never break her. Knowing she can give herself over to me completely to do with as I wish and in return I will reward her with pleasure like nothing else in the three universes.

“The baby?” I ask, wanting to ensure the child is safe before I have her.

“Fine, I’m fine,” she reassures me, wiggling her bottom to encourage me to start. I slap the rounded flesh and grind into her.

I won’t be hurried. I want to remember this place. This cold, desolate planet where the flame of my desires kindled into life.

The pregnancy has made her more sensitive, swollen and wet, and her orgasm slips easily from her. I bite her shoulder, holding her still, as my thrusts become firmer, and I pump into her.

Her gland is so close to my mouth, to my nose, to my teeth. I can see the glimmering skin, sniff the intensity of her scent. But I won’t bite her. Not yet. I won’t claim her. Not until she asks. Not until she chooses.

I can imagine it though, visualise how good it’s going to be, and the thought of it tips me over the edge. My eyes drift shut and I stutter, pleasure ripping through my body.

Stars, but this is addictive.

When I’ve filled her with enough of my come to ensure she’ll reek of me and only me when we arrive on my planet, I watch reluctantly as she redresses in the hideous overalls.

And then, according to Emma, it is time for goodbyes.

“Sheila is a computer and the pet is nothing more than a dumb animal. Goodbyes are meaningless to them,” I try to explain but she pouts at me and I sigh, pretty sure this human will always win out over me. “Fine.”

Emma stands by the door, her hand in mine. The pet sits in front of us eyeing us both suspiciously.

Sniffing, Emma addresses Sheila first.

“Sheila,” she says, squeezing my hand. “It is time for us to leave.”

“I hope you have enjoyed your stay at the Crystal Station,” Sheila replies automatically. “The station will lock down after your departure. Please be sure to take all your personal items with you. Wishing you a pleasant trip.”

“Sheila?”

“Yes, Space Cadet Steele?”

“Thank you for everything. For keeping me company — for stopping me from going mad. For the games of chess and the awful music.” She swallows. “I’ll miss you.”

There is a pause and then the usual whirring which signifies the computer is searching for a response.

“I will miss you too, loser,” Sheila says, “but I am glad you are leaving with the intelligent alien with the large appendage.”

“What?” I say.

“Nothing,” Emma mutters to me, then to Sheila she says, “We’re going to give it a try.”

The station is silent again.

Emma jabs me with her elbow and signals for me to say something too. It seems awfully formal. It is hardly the Astia court with a royal deity about to depart. But rolling my eyes in imitation of Emma, I indulge her, “Thank you Sheila for your hospitality.”

The computer whirrs for some minutes. Finally, she churns up something, “It has been a pleasure to welcome you to the station.”

Emma giggles. “I think she likes you,” she whispers.

Next she turns her attention to the pet, crouching down and motioning for him to come forward. He does so reluctantly as if he knows something is up.

Emma hugs him, scratching around his ears and burying her face in his fur. “We’re leaving now, Fluffy,” she says, and I can hear the tears in her voice. “I will miss you so so much.” The creature licks her face enthusiastically and my lip curls in disgust. Pet slobber, delightful.

The mutual embrace continues for several minutes and I can tell both are reluctant to break it up, but I tug lightly at Emma’s elbow.

“Come on, Omega. Time to go.”

She stands up slowly, wiping at her face, the pet whining as she does, and jumping up at her, after more affection.

“Hey,” I tell him, pointing towards Emma’s growing abdomen. “Careful.” And then I maneuver her out of the door and towards the spaceship.

The creature trots along with us, chuffing at us as he does.

When we get to the ramp, he’s still with us, seeming to believe he is included on this trip.

I turn around and wave my arms firmly at him, shooing him away. “Pet, off with you. Go on, go.”

“Not so meanly,” she reprimands me. “Fluffy, you can’t come with us.” She attempts to push him off the ramp, but he is a large solid thing and sits down stubbornly. His intentions are clear. He refuses to move. “Fluffy,” Emma pleads. “This is your home. You don’t want to come with us. Space is cold and dark and no fun at all. And the journey is a long one. At least…” she turns to me. “How long is this journey?”

I shrug. “A day.”

“Oh, but it took them longer to get here,” she says with obvious surprise.

“The journey back is always quicker.”

She refocuses her attention on the pet. “Ok, it’s not as long as I thought it was. But still, you can’t come with us,” she twists to look up at me, “Can he?”

“No,” I say firmly.

The pet cocks his head and somehow seems to make his eyes grow wider. He whines with self-pity and sadness.

“Fluffy,” she hugs him again.

For the second time, I wait impatiently for this embrace to end. Finally I grow frustrated and pull Emma away. Then I give Fluffy a violent shove which he meets with resolve and growls at me, before throwing a longing look at Emma.

“I can’t leave him all alone,” she whispers, more tears rolling down her cheeks, her face hidden behind her hands.

“He isn’t alone. There are others of his kind here.”

“But I’m his family,” she cries.

“You would rob him of his own chance to find a mate and have a family of his own.”

“I can’t leave him,” she sobs, ignoring me and rushing at him. “I’m not going unless he comes too.”

“You’re being ridiculous.”

“I know!” she snaps.

I assess her, clinging tightly to the large fluff ball, who looks immensely satisfied with himself. I sigh in exaggeration.

“Fine, he can come.” I march up the ramp, trying not to smile at her happy whoops.

When we’re all inside, I find the pet a place to rest and point out the co-pilot seat for Emma, making sure she’s well strapped in before I turn my attention to the controls. I hesitate for a moment and then find the right button. The ramp groans and moans and then flips shut with a bang, jolting the ship.

Emma’s hand flies to her stomach. “Watch it. The baby didn’t like that — he’s kicking like mad.”

I reach over and stroke her belly. “The baby is fine — tough like its mother.”

She eyes me. “You do know how to fly this ship, right?”

“No,” I tell her, amused as her mouth falls open, “but how hard can it be?”

And then I jerk back the shiny silver lever and the ship lurches up into the big wide expanse of space.

Who knows what the future will bring, but with my honeypot by my side everything will be … good.

Next stop: home.
