Teal straightens and pulls up her underwear while I button my trousers.

“I’ll let you get back to it, your lordship.” She fixes my tie, staring at me with that playful lust in her dark eyes. She then reaches over and wipes my lower lip with her thumb. “Lipstick.”

“You know what, wife?” My voice is husky.

“What, husband?” She bites her lower lip.

“Fuck work. I prefer you.” I push her against the edge of the table and she gasps, and when I lift her, her legs wrap around my waist in a vice-like hold.

“Have I mentioned today how much I love you, Ronan?”

“I must’ve forgotten.”

“I love you,” she whispers in my ear.

“Not more than I love you, ma belle.”
