Terry was going to paddle a certain woman’s ass if she didn’t stop being so obstinate. It wasn’t a side of her he liked.
Maggie’s eyes widened for a moment and then her cheeks flushed with anger. Okay, maybe he’d enjoy this side of her. He did love to punish a disobedient sub.
“Thank you for your help, but I’m taking my car to Tires and More.”
“So, you can get ripped off again?” He crossed his arms over his chest.
“That’s my decision not yours.” She was losing some of her steam.
“I told you, I’d take care of everything.” He moved closer and his little rabbit froze, sensing the predator approaching. “You need to trust me. I’ll take care of this…of you.”
“I don’t need you to take care of me.” She stepped forward and poked his chest. “I don’t need any man to take care of me. I won’t allow any man to take care of me ever again.”
His control was legendary, but he hadn’t gone this long without sex since college. “Soon, you’ll beg me to take care of you.”
“I will never.” She turned and stormed out the door.
“How did she get here?” Terry glanced at Mattie.
“Uber and she let him leave.”
Good. That meant he had time. He’d let her stew for a few minutes and then go to her. She paced in the parking lot, her stride quick and her back stiff. He’d never realized rabbits had tempers.
“I’m surprised,” said Mattie.
“About what?” She was glorious in her fury, her hair a riotous mess of curls—when loose they’d cascade down her back or over her breasts with just her nipples peeking out.
“I’ve only seen you with those CEO, model-thin types.”
He shrugged. He had no reason to explain himself. His cock was his compass and Maggie was due north.
“If you’re not interested, I love a woman with curves in all the right places. She certainly has that.” Mattie inhaled. “A man could lose himself inside her for days—so ripe and passionate.”
“Shut the fuck up. She’s mine.” He turned and Mattie’s smile was like a punch in the gut. He was never going to hear the end of this from the guys.
