The Dom’s Submission: Complete Series by Ellis O. Day
CHAPTER 31: Maggie
Maggie was sprawled across Terry’s chest. He must’ve moved her because the last thing she remembered he’d been on top and she’d just had the best orgasm in her life. She wiggled, loving the way his hard body felt below her and…He was still buried inside her body, flaccid but there.
“You’re back.” His tone was smug but she didn’t care. After that performance he deserved to be smug.
“Yeah.” She kissed his chest and his hand wandered slowly up and down her back. She should move. She was probably smashing the poor man, but she didn’t want to go anywhere—ever.
“What time to you have to go home?”
She almost gasped. His words were like ice water dumped over her head. Apparently, he not only wanted her off his body; he wanted her out of his house. “Ah, you’re right. I should go.” She climbed off him, inhaling at the twinge of pain and loss as his dick slid from her body.
“Maggie?”
She sat up. Searching for her clothes. Damn, they were in the living room. She grabbed the sheet, covering herself as she climbed out of bed.
“What’s the matter?”
“Nothing. I need to go.” If she didn’t get away from him, she’d cry. She hadn’t expected a marriage proposal or anything but she also hadn’t thought it’d be a “wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am” situation either. She took a step and the sheet didn’t move. She tugged but he was lying on part of it.
“You have to go now?” He didn’t move but his dark eyes studied her.
“Don’t worry. I’ll be out of here as soon as the Uber arrives.” She gave up on the sheet and hurried from the room. He’d more than seen her body, so what difference did it make?
“Maggie…” He stood in the bedroom doorway.
“Don’t. Please.” She grabbed her underwear and pants from the floor. “It was fun. Thanks.”
“Fun?” He strode forward, reaching for her.
“Don’t. Don’t touch me.” She dodged him.
“Damnit. Sit down.”
She started to sit but stopped. “I’m not your pet.”
This time he did grab her, yanking her against his hard, bare chest. “But you are, little rabbit.”
“Stop calling me that.” She wasn’t timid and helpless. She was a grown woman.
“No.” His hands went to her ass, lifting her off the ground.
“What are you doing? Where are you taking me?” Her clothes slipped from her fingers as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Back to bed.”
His erection pressed against her abdomen, rubbing with each long stride he took. Heaven help her, she wanted him again. “No. We can’t. I’m not going to do this again.”
He tossed her onto the bed and was on top of her before she could sit up. “Why? You enjoyed it. A lot.” He grinned down at her, as he pushed her legs apart, positioning himself between them.
“Terry, please.”
He shifted, so he was on her side, one leg, across hers, holding her in place. He leaned on an elbow. She turned away but he captured her face, forcing her to look at him. “Tell me what’s bothering you.”
“It’s nothing.”
“It’s not nothing.” He kissed her softly. “Tell me, so I can fix it.”
“It’s not you. It’s me.” She’d been a fool, again.
“Don’t give me that shit.”
“No. I mean, I shouldn’t have expected anything.” She wasn’t young anymore and she had the body to prove it. Carrying a child took its toll and with the last one, no matter what she tried the weight wouldn’t come off. He was rich, attractive, in excellent shape and had a huge penis. He could have anyone he wanted. She should be thankful for the quickie. She almost snorted. Right. Thankful to be reminded of exactly what she was missing.
“What are you talking about?”
“We had fun and now it’s over. You made that perfectly clear.”
“What? How did I make that clear?”
“You wanted me to leave.”
“I did not.”
“You said you wanted me to go.” She wasn’t crazy. He had said that. “Just because you’re horny again don’t pretend you didn’t want me to leave.” And that was exactly what she was going to do. She squirmed, but he was too heavy. “Let me up.”
“No. You know the rules. Use the safeword if you need to”—he pressed himself more securely against her—"but I never…never said I wanted you to leave.” He captured her face. “I don’t want you to go.”
“You don’t?”
“No.” He kissed her again and this one was a little deeper, a little darker.
“Then, why did you want to know when I had to leave?”
“Is that what your huff is about?”
“It’s not a huff. You…you…It hurt. I know this doesn’t mean anything to you but I…” She turned away. “I guess, I wanted it to be more than just a quickie.”
“Maggie.” His tone was amused.
“It’s not funny.”
“It is. I enjoy learning what sparks my little rabbit’s temper.”
“Stop calling me that.”
“No.”
She turned toward him and he was grinning. “You can’t just say no.”
“I can and I did.” He trailed his hand down her cheek. “Now, tell me when you have to be home so I know how many hours I have left to fuck you.”
Her breath hitched and a throb started between her legs. “You really want me to stay?”
“Yes.” He captured her hand and put it on his dick. “See how much?”
“I do.” She squeezed, loving the way his breath hitched.
“So, how long?”
She ran her hand up and down his length, stroking and squeezing. “I’d say very long.” He was—long and thick and getter harder by the minute.
He laughed. “How many hours or minutes?”
“The kids are with their father.”
“All night?”
She nodded.
“Excellent.” The heat from his grin sizzled all the way to her toes.
