The Day He Cheated

We put the new box of condoms to good use. Part of me missed the few weeks where we’d been able to have sex without anything between us, and I could tell Donovan missed it too, but that didn’t diminish the fun we had together.

Donovan came up with creative new ways to fill the time. One afternoon we played hide and seek in the entire hotel. Whoever hid the longest got to do whatever they wanted with the other person. I hid first, choosing the dry-goods pantry. There was an enormous bag of jasmine rice that I hid behind, and it took Donovan almost twenty minutes to find me.

Then it was his turn. I closed my eyes behind the concierge desk and counted to one hundred. “Ready or not, here I come!” I shouted, even though he probably couldn’t hear me.

I had a hunch as to where he was. I took the elevator to the second floor and walked into the lounge. The lights were off, and natural sunlight streamed through the glass dome above. I tip-toed over to the bar and opened one of the cabinets underneath the taps.

Donovan was hidden inside, with his knees folded up to his chin. “What the hell!” he exclaimed.

I looked at my phone. “Three minutes. I win!”

“You must have cheated.” He crawled out of the cabinet and brushed himself off. “There’s no way you found me that quickly without cheating.”

“You commented on this cabinet the other day!” I said smugly. “You opened it and said, wow, you could hide a dead body in here!”

He crossed his arms over his chest. “I don’t believe you.”

“Too bad! I win! Which means I get to decide what you have to do. Let’s see. How about…”

I leaned forward and whispered in his ear, “I want you to eat me out on this bar until I come all over your face.

Donovan’s sexy mouth curled in a half-smile. “You sure?”

I bit my lip and nodded.

He suddenly spun me around and bent me over the bar. I gasped with surprise.

“This isn’t what I—”

“You weren’t specific enough,” he said, throwing my dress up and pulling aside my panties. “I’m doing it my way.”

My protests turned to cries of pleasure as he buried his face in my sex from behind. His tongue flicked up and down my lips, then began focusing lower on my clit. From this angle, his nose was pressed deep into my wet heat while he enveloped my clit with his lips.

His voice rumbled into me, “Still want me to do it a different way?”

“No,” I sighed. “Don’t stop. Don’t you dare stop now.”

Within minutes he had me screaming here I come in a context totally unrelated to hide and seek.

“Your turn to hide,” he said afterward. “If you can still walk.”

“That remains to be seen,” I said.

He gave me a firm slap on the ass. “I’ll go downstairs to count.”

As soon as I heard the elevator door close, I ran up the stairs to the fifth floor, then climbed the ladder to the roof. I closed the hatch silently, then laid on my back next to it, staring up at the perfect blue sky. As if on cue, a V-shaped flock of birds drifted across my vision, heading west toward the Mediterranean Sea.

I sighed and enjoyed the sun’s warmth on my face. I had been here over three weeks, and yet it felt like only a few days. It was weird how time could feel so different depending on your circumstances. If I didn’t have Donovan, the lockdown would have dragged on.

This is turning into the best vacation ever, I thought as I closed my eyes.

I was just settling in for a long nap on the roof when I heard a noise below me. The clang of metal ladder rungs, followed by the creaking sound of rusty hinges. The hatch flew open and Donovan’s gorgeous face appeared next to me.

“Two minutes and eighteen seconds!” He thrust a victorious fist into the air. “I win!”

“How on earth did you find me so quickly?” I asked, sitting up. “I thought I was going to get at least twenty minutes alone up here.”

“It’s suspicious how quickly I found you, isn’t it?” he said, narrowing his eyes. “There’s no way I could have found you without help…”

“Wait a minute. Did you cheat?” I demanded.

“Of course I cheated!” he replied. “I plugged in the security system and watched where you hid, just like you did to me!”

I gasped. “I didn’t cheat! You mentioned that hiding place to me the other day! But you totally cheated! You ruined my best hiding spot!”

He rested an elbow on the roof. “We agreed only to hide inside the hotel. So technically you’re still cheating by hiding here.”

“I… but… The roof is totally part of the hotel!” I argued.

Donovan shook his head and disappeared down the ladder. “I’m gonna start calling you Cheater instead of Feisty. This is really disappointing. Don’t you follow the rules?”

“Oh come on,” I said while following him down the ladder. “The roof is part of the hotel.”

“Nope.”

“So, using your logic, the balcony would be an illegal hiding place, too?”

“Yep.”

“Fine, this round is a draw,” I said as we took the stairs down to the ground floor. “You go hide, and I’ll find you. And I promise I won’t need to cheat to beat you.”

“A likely story,” he said.

I went behind the counter and counted to one hundred. “Ready or not, here I come!” I called. “And unlike some people, I’m not looking at the security system!”

I walked across the lobby and wondered where to search first. Then I heard a noise in the pool room.

What’s that?

I tip-toed through the lobby. The noise grew louder as I approached the door, and when I peeked inside, I saw Donovan doing the backstroke across the pool.

I threw open the door and said, “You know you’re supposed to hide during hide and seek, right?”

“I guess you win,” he said while continuing to swim.

“Did you lose on purpose?”

“I had a lot of fun the last time you won,” he said, “So I figured I would let you win again.”

“You don’t have to let me win. I would have won regardless, because I’m better than you at hiding. And I don’t cheat.”

“Forget the game. Join me for a swim.”

“I didn’t bring a swimsuit.”

“Neither did I!” Donovan reached the end of the pool, then rolled over onto his belly in the water. His bare ass cheeks broke the surface of the water for a split second before he dove underwater.

I giggled, then decided what the hell. I stripped down until I was naked and ran across the tile floor, doing a cannonball next to his swimming form.

The pool was heated to the perfect temperature. I casually swam laps next to Donovan while he did the backstroke across the pool. Occasionally I splashed water at his face, causing him to sputter and choke.

“Okay, now you’ve done it,” he said when I did it one too many times.

I squealed as he swam over to me and play-wrestled with me in the water. Bear-hugging me to his chest, then spinning me around in a circle like some sort of amusement park ride, spraying water in all directions. Then he lifted me up onto his shoulders and walked across the pool, tilting me this way and that. I slid off his shoulders and hugged him like a jetpack while he playfully tried to throw me off.

It was silly fun, and for a few minutes we forgot all about the pandemic raging outside the hotel.

“Okay, I’m spent,” he said after half an hour. “I forgot how exhausting swimming is. Hot tub time.”

I rested my chin on the edge of the pool. “You first. Give mama a show.”

Donovan grabbed the ladder to exit the pool. When he was halfway up the ladder he paused, tossing his head back like he was on Baywatch and sending water spiraling through the air. I giggled as he walked up the ladder slowly, swaying his bare ass like Pamela Anderson. I quickly swam over and gave his butt a wet smack.

We both hurried over to the hot tub and jumped inside. It was a good deal hotter than the pool, but after a few seconds it felt great. Donovan turned the jets on, and soon we were both sighing and relaxing under the water.

“You didn’t tell me what you want,” he said after a few minutes. “For winning this round of hide and seek.”

“Did I win, or did you stop playing?”

“Does it matter?”

I looked sideways at him. “I think you know what I want.”

He slid over to me, planted his arms on either side of my head, and kissed me wetly. I sighed and wrapped my legs around his body as he sank into me, his body hot and hard and mine.

I moaned as he took me in the pool room, our cries echoing off the tile.
