“Jetstream”

I floated on the jetstream

A pillow

A mist

And flew within your thoughts

’Til I wondered if you existed

At all.

But the dawn, it called,

An echo

A gleam

And I heard your voice cry out for me

And followed it, a flame

Snuffed.

Out.
