Promises and Pomegranates by Sav R. Miller

Acknowledgments

Jesus, y’all. I was beginning to think I’d never be able to write these words. Five months of struggling against massive imposter syndrome and procrastination, and I finally finished. I want to say I’ve learned my lesson, but let’s be honest: this is just who I am. I like the rush.

That being said, the first mention here goes to my best friend, Emily McIntire. The person who reads everything I write (even when it’s rewritten and scrapped ten times), who reminds me that I belong here, who deals with all my nervous energy, and who inspires me every day. I genuinely don’t even know what I’d do without you. Thank you for existing.

To my betas Ariel, Michelle, and Zoe: Thank you for your willingness to work with my crazy ass schedule, and for helping me fine-tune each book. Y’all are the absolute best.

To my editor and proofreader, Ellie and Rosa, at My Brother’s Editor: Thank you for (again) working with me even though my schedule is ridiculous and I pushed back my date like a dozen times. I’m so grateful for how pretty and polished you make my books.

To my cover designer, Cat, with TRC Designs: Girl. You absolutely blow me away with everything you do, but this cover. I’m in love. You’re a freaking wizard, and I cannot wait for our future projects.

To my street team, Sav’s Sirens: Thank y’all for the hype you always show up with. I’m constantly blown away with y’all’s willingness to share my shit. I couldn’t do any of this without you.

To my ARC team: Y’all are an invaluable part of this entire process. Thank you for loving my work enough to want to keep reading and share your love with the world.

To my family: Thank you for always supporting my dreams, even when you don’t necessarily like the content.

To my man: thank you for believing in me, long before anyone else ever did.

To Lord Byron and Poe: Y’all get a shout out because I love you. You can’t read, but thanks for the companionship on the late nights and stressful days.

And last, but not least, thank you. The reader, whom there is no point in any of this without.
