Tarnished Love by Bianca Borell

FILIP

Bright girl. I watch her as she rushes away. I pull myself together and return to my friends. Nico slaps a palm over my back.

“Who was that fine piece of ass?” I throw him another glare, the second tonight, and his thick eyebrows knit together. Yes, I question what’s wrong with me too and I lie.

“Damien’s.”

“He always had good taste.” My elbow hits his stomach, and he buckles. The idiot realized he referred to my sister too.

“I am sorry, man.”

“Whatever.” I point to Angelina, and he shrugs.

“On, off. I lost count.”

“She deserves someone better than you.” He nods, and someone should tell me the same because my eyes land on a heart-shaped ass, and I picture where it will be tonight. I approach her, and two hours later I call a cab for her. Getting her out of my house and out of my life, all while two emerald eyes infiltrate my mind. But I will stay away, nothing good can ever come out of that.
