Chapter 29
Reed
"If you keep doing that …" She sticks her ass into my cock. “We are never going to leave."
"I don’t know what you mean." She wiggles her ass as the shower rains over her. I think we slept thirty minutes total last night because we were so needy for one another. After doing her in her house, she did, in fact, suck my cock as I drove home. It’s a good thing it was the middle of the night because it took me five minutes, and I had to stop in the middle of the road a couple of times. The minute I put the car in park, she threw her leg over me and sank down on my cock. I finally got her in the bed for round five and fucked her with her arms and legs around me. The covers were thrown on the floor, the pillows on the side tables as my girl gave it to me as good as I gave it to her. She drops the soap on the floor and bends fully, something she’s done a couple of times already. "Oops." She opens her legs, and it takes me one second to think about it before I bend my knees and slip into her. "Okay, one more time,” she says. I grab her hips and turn to sit on the bench in the shower.
Taking her with me, I thrust my cock deeper and deeper into her. I take her legs and put them on top of mine as she starts to move. Her head drops onto my shoulder as she turns her mouth for my tongue. One of my hands goes to her clit while the other tweaks her nipple. Her pussy grips me tight, and I know she loves it. "I’m there,” she says, her hand coming to play with mine at her clit. “Right there,” she says, and I know once she comes, she will stop moving.
She screams out as she comes, and I’m not wrong. She stops moving. "You done?" I ask, and she nods.
"You want my mouth?" she asks with a twinkle in her eyes as she slips off me, and her mouth swallows me. It doesn’t take long before I come down her throat.
"You ruined me,” I say as she gets up and starts to wash herself off. “And if we didn’t have to be at my parents’ house, I’d have you ride my face."
She splashes water at me. “You can’t tease me like that,” she says. “You know I love your mouth."
I get up and kiss her mouth. “Oh, I know,” I say, walking out of the shower. I grab a towel and hold out one for her when she steps out of the shower.
"I have to go to my house," she says as she dries herself off. That first night in the barn, I knew she was stunning, but when I see her in the light, her beauty always stops me in my tracks. She is even more beautiful than before.
"Well, you tore my panties in the car," she reminds me. "And my shirt is ripped right down the middle."
"Hey"—I point at her—“I asked if you minded."
"You had two fingers in me." She laughs. “I would have agreed to anything."
"Good to know." I wink at her and slap her ass, and instead of saying ouch, she just moans. My cock twitches. “Really good to know."
She puts on my T-shirt and shorts and we drive to her house. My hand rests on her leg as we get to her house. My phone rings, and I see it’s my mother. “Hello," I answer on speaker.
"Daddy Uncle Reed," Sofia says softly. “Are you coming to get me? I miss Momma."
"We are going to be there in five minutes,” I say, and if I knew that Hazel wouldn't freak out, I would drive there now with her wearing my clothes. “How about we go ride Caramel?"
"Yes," she says, and I can picture her smile. “Grandma, I’m going to ride Caramel."
"Okay, baby, let me talk to Daddy." She hands her the phone. “Sorry, I tried to stall her, but …"
"It’s fine. We just got back to Hazel’s. She’s going to change, and we’ll be right there." Hazel gasps and slaps me, and I look over at her as her eyes go big.
"Oh, no need. Your father is going to your grandparents’ right now. He’ll take her riding while you talk to your grandfather," she tells me.
"So you heard?" I ask, and she hums.
"Harlow gave us the rundown," she says. “Amelia said you have until noon, and then she’s going to tattle."
"Thanks, Mom,” I say, hanging up.
"Seriously?" Hazel says. “Seriously, you had to tell her we spent the night together."
"Well, considering you're spending the night with me again tonight, she’s going to know,” I say as she gets out and storms up the steps.
"Oh, no, I’m not,” she says over her shoulder.
"You sure about that?" I ask, leaning against the truck. “Hurry up, my daughter is sad."
She slams the door in my face, and it takes everything not to chase after her and turn her ass red. She comes out in record time wearing tight pink jeans with a black T-shirt tucked into the front. "How do I look?" she asks.
"Good enough to eat." She stops in front of me, and I pull her to me. “I missed you,” I say softly, and she puts her hands around my shoulders. “Give me a kiss,” I say, and I can see she wants to fight with me. “Please."
She smirks. “Better,” she says, and she kisses me. I open the door for her, and I admit if she lets me do this with her for the rest of her life, I’m going to die a happy man.
I get into the truck and make my way over to my grandparents' house. "I don’t know about this,” she says, putting a hand to her stomach. “Why don’t you tell him and then call me?"
I’m about to argue with her when the front door opens and my grandmother comes out. “Too late." I get out of the truck, and when she gets out of the truck, she glares at me. “Can I hold your hand?"
"I will not give you my mouth for a month,” she says through clenched teeth, making me laugh as I shake my head.
"Well, look at you two," my grandmother says. “Thick as thieves with those secrets."
I laugh now and kiss her cheek. “Where is Grandpa?" I ask as she holds out her arms for Hazel.
"He’s finishing lunch,” she says. “Come on in. Did you guys eat?"
"Yeah,” I say, walking in behind her. "I ate a couple of times today. I ate a ton last night,” I say over my shoulder, and if my grandmother wasn’t watching, she would have kicked me in the ass.
"Billy," my grandmother says. “Look who came."
He looks up and smiles when he sees me. His smile grows bigger when he sees Hazel. “Isn’t that a sight for sore eyes?"
"Hi, Mr. Barnes," Hazel says.
"Sit down, please," my grandmother says. “Can I get you two something to drink?"
"I’m fine," Hazel says. I pull out a chair for her, and my grandmother watches, her eyes narrowing. She used to give me the same look when she would tell me that she would tan my hide if I messed up her flowers with my soccer ball.
"Come and sit," I tell my grandmother, and she comes over, knowing that something is coming. She sits next to Grandpa as they share a look. "We came over today …" I start to say.
"We?" My grandfather picks up. “There is a we?"
I reach across the table and grab Hazel's hand as she has tears in her eyes. I’m sure she’s a nervous wreck. “There is a we," I tell them, smiling now and feeling so proud. "In more ways than just the two of us."
"I don’t understand," my grandmother says, and then she puts her hands in front of her mouth. “Reed Barnes, is she pregnant?"
I don’t say she might be because we definitely were not careful, like at all. “No." I shake my head. "But she was."
My grandmother starts to cry. “You are such an idiot," Hazel says under her breath.
"Mr. and Mrs. Barnes, what he’s trying to say and failing so miserably at is that Sofia," she starts to say and then stops, and I see she won’t be able to continue.
"Sofia is my daughter," I finally say, and my grandmother's hand comes down from her mouth now, but her mouth does not close.
"What?" my grandfather whispers as he looks at me.
"I found out I was pregnant right before I left," Hazel says. "Pops …"
"He knew, didn’t he?" Grandpa asks. “He knew Reed was the father?"
"He did,” she says, and I can see her lips tremble, so I pull her chair to me. “But I made him promise not to tell you,” she says. “I didn’t want to be a burden."
"Be a burden?" my grandmother says. “You gave us a gift. A child is a gift,” she says, grabbing a tissue. “Why didn’t you tell us?" She looks at me.
"She tried to tell me, and I fucked up," I admit. “I fucked up so bad."
"Pops," my grandfather says, grabbing the handkerchief that he keeps in his shirt pocket. “Every single time he went out to see you,” he says, his voice trembling as he thinks about his friend. “He would come over here and show us all of his pictures,” he says, looking at my grandmother. “All he could say was isn’t she a beauty, Billy." Hazel puts a hand to her mouth now. “He was sharing her with us without us knowing." My grandfather stops talking now as he composes himself. “That sneaky son of a bitch,” he says, laughing. “He was a good man."
"He was," Hazel says. “And he thought the world of you."
"We have another great-granddaughter," my grandfather says to my grandmother, who just nods her head.
"The more, the merrier,” she says. “You did an amazing job, Hazel." She looks at her, and I grab Hazel and bring her forehead to mine.
The back door opens and my father is carrying Sofia in his arms. “See, I told you they were here." She squirms out of his arms.
"Momma," she says, going to Hazel and getting into her lap and hugging her.
Hazel wraps her arms around her. “I missed you." She kisses her head. “What are you wearing?" She looks down at Sofia's outfit.
"These are horse pants,” she says.
"Riding pants," my father says. "Your mother." I hold my hand up like I get it. "Is everything okay here?" my father asks, and I know he came in to have my back.
"Everything is great," my grandfather says. "We were just catching up." He looks over at my father, who nods his head.
"Yeah," I say, smiling with Sofia and Hazel beside me, and a sense of peace comes over me. "Everything is great."
