Dominant Fireman Daddy by Scott Wylder
CHAPTER NINE
Frank
These last few months have been the happiest I have had in since I can remember. I really love my Talia, or “Kitty Cat” as I call her like the kitty ears she wore when we were first together. We have been working on her caring about herself and others to be accountable. We have worked on trusting each other and Talia trusting herself.
Talia got a job at the cat café in town where she can care for the cats while they wait adoption while on the other side of the building people drink overpriced lattes and watch cats play. She loves it. She makes every shift, and she is never late. She is dependable and adorable. Now that she cares about herself, she can now care for something or someone else
Chris and I took our Littles to “Recess” where she would make more friends. She met a new girl who calls herself Betsy, but she has yet to find her a Daddy. I have half a mind to fix her up with Darius from our Southside firehouse. He is younger than me, almost Chris’s age. He’s in his early 30’s, fit like a god and has girls throwing themselves at him all the time, but we know a Daddy when we see one. We know our own. I am hoping I can offer something, or maybe Talia can. I don’t want to play matchmaker, but it could be fun to have another couple to hang with. Every Daddy needs a Little and every Little needs a Daddy.
The ex-roommate’s boyfriend as never heard of again. He never showed up on the police reports, never heard anyone that matches his descriptions on the police radio.
Sometimes I wonder if there ever was an ex-roommate’s boyfriend. Maybe she ended up homeless of her own doing and didn’t want to tell me. Maybe she dove in because she was bored, or sad, or wanted to feel something different. Maybe she didn’t want to die, but she didn’t want to keep living the way she was either. I know I was the one to save her that day, but I’ve been around enough to know when someone is looking to be saved, they are going to be one way or the other.
I never mention it, and neither does she. Maybe that is what love is, loving each other enough not to ask the whole story or need to know to know that it is going to be okay.
We have officially moved in together. She likes to play the Little with her cartoons and her fluffy blankets. I will never win the battle of thumb sucking, and I don’t think I want to either. She only does it when she’s really scared or when she’s really relaxed, both those extremes I want to be there.
She keeps up with her drawing. At first, her art was dark and scary. There were fairy tale elements, but always the wolf, always the monster. Now her color palate is more of pastel colors with happy subjects like princes and princesses. Sometimes the princes and princesses are cats. I encourage her to write a children’s book about feline royalty. She giggles at the thought, but I know she’s considering it.
One day I came home from work, and she had painted more realistic picture with gold leafing like a Klimt painting. The prince and princess looked like us. The castle looked like our house. The prince is placing a ring on the princess’s finger. I am touched. I take a deep breath to keep down happy tears.
Without a word, a walk over to her and hug her tight. I hug her tight like she is what is keeping me tethered to this Earth, like she is the only thing that matters. She hugs me back like she feels the same way.
After what seems like eternity I release her, and we stare at each other like the whole world can be seen through each other’s eyes. “We can make this painting come to life, Kitty Cat. We can make this dream come true. Would you do that for me? Would you make me the happiest Daddy ever and be my wife?”
She hugs me close again and whispers in my ear. “Yes, Frank. Yes I will be your wife.”
Do you think Frank and Talia will last? Will they play matchmaker to their friends Betsy and Darius? What is a “Recess” part for Littles and Daddies really like? Find out in the next installment of “Caring Fireman Daddy.”
Caring Fireman Daddy book description:
It is love at first sight, but neither one has learned how to love let alone to trust.
BETSY
I like playing games as much as the next Little, but I’m tired of playing emotional games and am ready for the real thing.
I want to find my Daddy.
Maybe a game of Hide and Seek will bring out my shy buy caring Daddy in Darius.
I like the chase, but the chase becomes too real when I come face to face with a real wolf.
Darius is a firefighter and maybe able to save me from danger, but can he save me from myself?
DARIUS
I keep myself busy at the firehouse, so I don’t have to come home to my big empty house that hardly feels like a home.
I connect with Betsy on a real level, but she seems skittish, ready to run at the slightest turn.
I am going to have to chase her alright.
I will have to Hide and Seek my way to her heart.
Caring Fireman Daddy is a hot, short, sexy Age Play romance with just a bit of sweet featuring two consenting adults who might have met their match, even by accident. It includes DDLG elements with some suspense, some sweetness, lust, and love, and a Happily Ever After for two people who really deserve each other. Enjoy!
