Tender Billionaire Daddy by Scott Wylder

CHAPTER TEN

Liam

“It’s a restaurant simulator game where players can choose a real-life restaurant that they want to run,” I explained to her as I showed her the prototype of the app I was designing. “Everything is powered by micro-purchases and ad revenue. Restaurant owners get a small portion of the earnings as an incentive to include their restaurant in the app, but most of the money will go to the servers. It’s not a lot, but it will keep servers from getting into dire straights during the off-season.”

“This is so cool,” she said as she tapped through the app. She was making burgers for virtual customers. Dollar signs flashed on the screen when she delivered the food to the customers. “I can easily see this being addictive.”

“Mobile games like this make a lot of money by being addictive,” I said. “But at least this time the money will be going to a good cause.”

She smiled. “This is so amazing. I can’t believe you designed this yourself. It must have been a lot of work.”

“It was fun. Besides, if you’d have decided that you never wanted to see me again, I wanted to make sure you were all right. In fact, your former boss was the first person I contacted about participating.”

Lacy had decided to quit her waitressing job, a couple of months after she agreed to be my Little; something that I was more than happy about. She was a lot more relaxed and carefree now that she wasn’t working such a stressful job. She sometimes talked about going to college, but she wanted time to play, right now. After all, she’d never got to play during her childhood so she had to make up for lost time. I would support whatever decisions she made, but right now I was enjoying giving my Little all the playtime she needed.

Lacy wrapped her arms around me in a hug. “Thank you so much,” she said. “I’ll never be able to repay you for everything you do for me.”

“You don’t owe me anything, Little One.” I kissed the top of her head. “I love you. I want to take care of you.” One of these days I hoped that would get through to her. Until then, I would always remind her how happy I was to be her Daddy. “Let’s go lie down, all right? You’re so adorable; I just want to cuddle you.”

She smiled and nodded before skipping happily ahead of me to the bedroom. I smiled as I watched her go.

By the time I caught up to her, she was already stripping out of her sundress. She was wearing nothing but a cute little diaper underneath. My cock hardened with desire at the sight. “It’s comfier to cuddle without clothes,” she said.

I smiled. “I understand.” I got in bed beside her and pulled her into my arms. However, as good as it felt holding her close I felt anxiety twist my gut. The app wasn’t the only thing I had to surprise her, but my second gift of the day was bigger and a little more life-changing. In my nightstand drawer was a small velvet box with an engagement ring.

The truth was I had got it months ago. I knew from the beginning that I wanted Lacy to be mine forever. I wanted to spend the rest of my life taking care of her and making her happy. In all this time, my feelings had only grown stronger. But, I wanted to wait until I thought she was ready. Now that more time has passed, I thought she might be.

I ran my fingers through her hair and down her spine. She shivered slightly as I created goosebumps on her bare skin.

“You know I love you, Little One. Right?”

She looked up at me curiously. “Of course I do. I love you too, Daddy.”

I reached into the nightstand and pulled out the box, hiding it from her view. “I have a question to ask you. A grown-up question.”

She sat up, her brow furrowed. “What is it?”

I smiled and slowly revealed the box to her. Her eyes widened at the sight of it. She covered her mouth with her hands.

“Lacy, you’re everything to me,” I said. “If you asked me to, I would give up everything for you. You’re so beautiful and sweet but also strong and courageous. So please, please, do me the honor of becoming my wife.”

She nodded, her eyes tearing up. “Yes, oh my God yes.” She threw her arms around me in a hug. “I love you. I love you so much.”

I smiled, relieved, and held her close. “I love you too, Little One.” I chuckled and pulled back. “I have to put the ring on your finger, now.”

“Oh, right.” She giggled and held out her hand. She barely glanced at the diamond and sapphire encrusted band as I placed it on her finger. Instead, she gazed at me with adoring eyes. “I love you, Daddy,” she whispered.

I pulled her into a hug. “I love you too, Little One.”
