Apathy by L.K. Reid

Are we okay? Breathing? Can I come out from my hiding spot?

I would say that I’m sorry for that cliffy, but I’d be lying. After my alphas and betas finished reading Apathy, sending me “WTF” messages, I kid you not, I sat down, petting my cat and snickering at the same time. Honestly, this is the first time where I truly felt comfortable writing a book, even though I knew that it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. But I am truly happy how it turned out and I hope you guys truly like it.

We all know that I’m terrible with this entire acknowledgments part, but this book definitely wouldn’t be here without my tiny army.

My Momager, my beacon of light, and the first person that believed in me, outside of my family—Stephanie. Thank you for being you, for the late-night talks, and the love you have for these characters. I still have those screenshots of you screaming at me when Ash appeared for the first time.

To my friends—thank you for understanding my need to disappear from the real world when characters talk a bit too loud.

To my mom and my brother, thank you so much for all the love and endless support.

To one very important person, Zoe. Thank you for loving the story and for being such an amazing friend.

To Meredith and Brianna, and their shouty messages.

To all of my author friends, and you know who you are, I cannot express how thankful I am to have you in my life. Thank you for all the advice, for words of encouragement, and just for being you.

My absolutely fabulous editor, Maggie. I am so glad to have you in my life. Thank you for prettying up my words and helping me deliver this book in the best way possible.

My amazing Street Team, my Queens of Carnage. You guys keep surprising me with your support, and I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.

Needless to say, my ARC readers, you guys are absolutely amazing. Thank you!

To every blogger, bookstagramer, thank you for taking a chance on me and reading my books. Never in a million years would I have expected this level of support.

To all of the readers, thank you so, so, so much for reading.

And last but not least, to music. For always being there, keeping me afloat and helping me shape this book, this whole world into what it is today.
