This one was tough. I lost my young father to cancer in the midst of writing this. And the fact that I’d already plotted Alistair’s death before Dad’s passing was somewhat eerie.
To anyone who has lost someone dearest to them, I acknowledge you.
Thanks to all who helped me put this book out, just in time! Gabby, my editor, thank you. William P, your intimate knowledge of everything hedge fund related helped shape Blake’s character, so cheers.
Mum, my number one fan. Thanks for reading and rereading again! I’ll try to put more Bj’s in the next book! OMG… yes, she said that!
Bev. Without you, I honestly couldn’t have gone through this year. You put the colour in my rainbow. Even on the cloudiest, coldest of days, you shine bright.
Since my debut novel, Trusting a Rockstar, I’ve received amazing support from fellow readers, authors and bookstagrammers which has—to be completely honest—blown me away.
You never know if your writing resonates with readers, or if it will become words on a page eroded with time. All I know is I love writing. I love the escape writing brings and if it brings a tiny slither or a whopping slice of escapism and joy in your life; it makes me abundantly happy too.
If you would like to leave a review, I would be forever grateful. Reviews can really help a new author stand out from the thousands of other Amazon authors out there, especially in the romance genre.
I’m so humbled you’ve taken a chance on a new author.
Cheers,
Missy x
