MAYA

I feelthe sweet calmness coming with the afterglow, the satisfying orgasms, multiple orgasms, and then a new energy spiraling up, flowing through my blood, putting a bounce in my step.

We follow a footpath across the property until we spot Shade and Tara close to the mansion.

My cheeks must be crimson when she looks at me.

We’ve known each other for a long time, so she can read it on my face. She knows what’s going on.

Shade grasps it immediately, the non-verbal communication between the two men registering with me.

Chad’s lips curve into a secret smile.

Moving my eyes to Shade and Tara, I realize Chad and I weren’t the only ones indulging in pleasure.

Shade smiles around his cigarette while Tara’s eyes sparkle with affection. Her dress looks a little wrinkled too.

Luckily, our limo pulls up near us.

The men swing the back doors open before we smoothly slide onto the seats. Chad and I settle into the back seats. Tara and Shade across from us.

We’re more relaxed now than we were, and there is no space between Chad and me.

I lean into him while he curls his arm around my shoulders.

It takes seconds before the limo glides away. Tara focuses on Shade while I shift my eyes to McKenna.

He has this playful air about him that makes me smile.

He looked sexy before when he held back and tried to impress me, but now he’s pure deliciousness.

He moves his fiery eyes to me and asks me quietly if I’m okay. I tilt my chin down before bringing my fingers to his face and brushing them against his chiseled cheek.

His eyes soften, drinking from the well of affection in my gaze when I move even closer to him, slide my lips to his ear, and murmur.

“That was the best I’ve ever had…” I whisper, my fingers fanned over his neck.

I pull back a little to see his eyes.

He reads my gaze before bringing his lips to my ear too.

“You were the best for me too. I can’t wait to be with you again.”

He straightens before he shifts a little, making me aware of the tension in his bulge, and just like that, I feel that soft pulsing in my center, signaling that I want him again.

We can’t break our stare before he brings his hand to my hair and tilts closer to me, so our lips lock.

We kiss, my fingers sliding around his neck while we shift so we can face each other, deepening the kiss, drinking from that well of passion again, ignoring that we are not alone.

We can’t stop, my fingers going down his neck and lower to his chest, the memory of him thrusting into me, making me wet, tingling, and throbbing again.

He knows as much as I do that this is it.

We only have a few hours left, and we better be committed to making the best out of them.

His mouth blazes with hunger when he breaks away from mine. Drawing in a deep breath, he grins to conceal the tension gripping his body, his smirk arousing me even more.

His eyes are heavy with lust, and his lips are parted when he spreads his legs slightly, giving me a full view of his package.

He taunts me with a come-hitter look, making me do the unthinkable.

Without looking at Shade and Tara, I lean into him and press my breasts into his chest, famished for his lips.

A thought flickers through his eyes before he swiftly goes for it.

Cupping the back of my neck, he locks my lips again.

If we ever felt the slightest reservation, now it’s completely gone. His kiss is arousing, sensual, the best foreplay, igniting my fire immediately.

Instinctively, I draw my hand to his groin and touch him. He stirs, hard and thick against my fingers.

Lips locked with his, I slide my hand up and down, rubbing his erection, cupping his balls from time to time. I’ve lost my mind. The light is dim inside the car, but even so.

Soon, I hear whispers, and I realize that Shade and Tara are busy with each other too.

I feel better. Hotter. Everything becomes even harder to stop, although no one is thinking about stopping anything, anyway.

He runs his zipper down before I slip my fingers inside, eager to wrap them around his erection while he lowers the top of my dress, freeing my breasts.

Where do we go from here?

One quick look to the side tells me Tara is about to come.

Shade’s hand moves between her legs, her chest pressed against his touch.

“You’ll get what she gets soon,” he murmurs against my lips, just as our ride slows down and pulls up in front of a building.

MAYA

It’sdifficult to cool off, pull back, and slow down my racing pulse.

He fixes his fly while I tuck my boobs back inside my top.

Somehow, we manage to climb out, looking proper, like the couple that we were when the night began.

A long elevator ride up takes us to Shade’s place.

Dim lights and soft music welcome us as we enter a large apartment at the top of the building.

The glass patio doors usher in the rooftop terrace, the pool, and the city skyline.

The air is crisp, a soft breeze sweeping the floors.

Shade walks behind the bar counter and fixes drinks for all of us.

Glasses of wine in hand, Chad and I walk onto the terrace while Tara and Shade stay behind.

“We’ve made it,” McKenna says, grinning, taking off his tuxedo coat and draping it over my shoulders.

He drags his gaze down before he looks at me, and we clink our glasses.

“What are we drinking to?” I ask, soaking in his sexy smile.

“To the most beautiful woman, I’ve ever met.”

I take a drink, smiling.

He watches me as I sip my wine before he kisses me.

I laugh.

“You’re good,” I toss at him.

He seems amused.

“You think I’m a player?” he jokes.

He quirks an eyebrow, waiting for my answer.

When he smiles, the world lights up. He has that kind of power.

“Uh…”

My lips pull open, my mind scrambling for an answer.

I can’t talk right now. Too many things spin in my head, my mind moving from one to another.

He lifts his hand to my neck, forgetting to taste his wine.

I take another swig, hoping to buy some time and regain my memory.

What was I thinking about?

His fingers stroke over my jawline, shattering my focus again.

“Am I a player, Maya?” he asks softly, unexpectedly solemn.

His touch is gentle on my face, and I read so much in it.

He’s giving me a serious thought, affection growing in his eyes––his feelings mirror mine––but this can’t happen.

People don’t fall for each other that fast.

We’re caught in a swirl of lust, although his eyes tell me something different.

He still waits for my answer.

“No. You are not,” I say seriously. “I don’t think so. Not with me.”

His eyes narrow with a smile, and I grin as well while the moment of reflection pulls away from us.

We clink our glasses again and drink wine before I glance inside.

Shade and Tara are next to the counter.

“Have you been with two women before?” I murmur, shifting my eyes back to him.

He flashes a playful smile.

“All the time.”

I laugh.

“That’s not what I meant. Shade and you.”

He looks down, his grin casting a glow over his cheekbones.

“I know what you mean,” he says quietly, sliding his hand into his pocket and drinking more wine.

He sets his glass on the table while I lean against it, the wind blowing in my hair.

Standing in front of me, he trains his gaze in the distance, his smile fading.

“I don’t think we’ve ever been here before…” he says quietly. “Shade and I,” he adds, tipping his gaze to me.

My eyes stay locked with his.

I think I know what he says, although he doesn’t elaborate.

“You?”

I place my drink next to me.

“You probably know our stories, so no.”

I feel cold all of a sudden.

“Life was different for us,” I say, realizing there is nothing to talk about.

About Tara and me, and the men we had in our lives before them.

“Our lives were different too,” he says, serious again. “School is school. I can’t wait to be done with it.”

“And the rest…?”

He ponders for a second, slowly rolling his bottom lip under his teeth, a soft smile creasing his lips.

“Sadly, there’s not much to talk about…”

And here we are, sharing the same point of view.

My gaze falls slowly away from him before training on the pool.

“Let’s not talk about the past,” he says to cheer me up, touching my shoulder slightly.

I lift my gaze to him while he checks our glasses.

“I might need to get a bottle.”

Without another word, he heads inside while I peer through the glass doors. Tara and Shade have moved slightly to the side, so I crane my neck to glimpse them.

Oh, shit.

I watch Chad swagger by them, rounding the bar counter, scooping up the bottle of wine, and walking back.

Shade is propped against the counter while Tara’s head moves against his groin.

There’s a first for everything.

The sight of them locked like that turns me on as much as––I suspect––we turned them on before.

I tear my gaze away from them, push off the table and walk to a private corner next to a wall.

He walks out and looks for me.

“What happened?” he asks, collecting our glasses and bringing them to me.

He fills them deftly before handing me one of them.

I gulp down a bit too much, bringing a smile to his lips.

“That bad, huh?”

I laugh, almost choking on my drink.

He chuckles quietly.

Smoothly he takes a swig and tears his glass away from his lips.

“She sucks him real good,” he says casually, running his fingers over his lips.

He looks away, but something tells me he’s caught sight of my expression and a furtive glance to his groin, but I save face, lifting my gaze and smiling.

“I’ve never seen her doing it before, so I have no point of reference.”

He laughs quietly again before he shifts his focus to me.

His jacket keeps me warm, his fingers freeing my hair before moving over my shoulders.

“They are hot,” he says, not looking at me, still playing with my hair while I watch him, spellbound. “But nothing compares to you.”

He tosses me the second compliment this evening, and neither of them has felt contrived.

Standing, we look at each other.

His hand rests on my neck before moving to my cheek and lips while he filters the softest, most seductive grin through his bedroom eyes.

“I want you to be yourself tonight… Don’t hold anything back,” he adds, smiling faintly. “As if this is…”

He pauses, his expression brightening.

“As if this is the night before I go to war…” he jokes, his eyes glinting with subdued emotion as if this is the first time he’s asked something of me.

I say nothing when he moves his eyes down and slides his touch to my dress.

“I want to see you…” he says, gently cupping my breasts and kneading my chest through my top.

He lifts his gaze and catches me bite my lip, fighting my emotions back.

Smoothly, he brings his hand to my back, unzips my dress, and lets it drop to the concrete floor without much fuss.

Wearing only my red lace panties, heels, and his tuxedo coat on my shoulder, I look at him.

The moonlight reflects in his eyes with his thoughts. A thousand thoughts. A million thoughts. They’re all good.
