This was a step away from the norm for me and I cannot express how much your words of encouragement boosts my confidence. I say “words of encouragement” but it’s more demands for more with shouty capitals. Either way…I love you all for your continuous support.
My editor, Helayna, does a marvellous job on commas and whatnot, but she also needs a mention because she’s a supportive friend and I can bounce ideas off her as we’re editing.
Renee, also gets another hug in words, because she fell in love with this story in the first chapter. It’s a very humble thing to be told by someone that you wrote their favourite ever book. I don’t think she understood at the time, the enormity of that sentence or the impact of her words when she told me. So I’m putting it in writing for everyone to see - ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!? I wrote your most favourite ever book? I have no other words - except THANK YOU! I love you, and I really hope I continue the momentum into Book 2 (no pressure on me at all…).
My mum gets a special thanks because she loved this book so much. She loves all my books (I’m very lucky), but she laughed throughout this one and is waiting (im)patiently for me to write Book 2, so she can see a certain demon get his comeuppance. She’s also the best mum a girl can have, and I don’t say enough how grateful I am that she’s mine. Love you mama x
