Niamh Hargan is a writer and lawyer. The Break-Up Clause is her second novel. Her first, Twelve Days in May, was shortlisted for the Katie Fforde RNA Debut Romantic Novel Award.

Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Niamh is now based primarily in Scotland. She has no husband, no children, no dogs, and no cats.
