Six Weeks of Seduction by Ellis O. Day

WEEK TWO: COWBOY FANTASY

CHAPTER 39:  NICK

Nick was running late. He’d dragged Tommy to a meeting with a new client and when it was over, the kid had pestered him with a hundred questions. He was proud of how well Tommy was doing, but tonight was not the night to be late. It was Friday and Maisie was coming over to watch Tank, which meant he got to see what kinky fantasy Sarah had in store for him. Both of his heads couldn’t wait. He texted Sarah.

NICK: On my way. Be ready.

SARAH: I’ll see you at your place. Change into your costume.

His dick rose. A costume? Interesting.

NICK: I can pick you up.

SARAH: No. I’m waiting on Maisie. I’ll see you there.

NICK: I’ll come home and wait with you.

SARAH: No. That’s OK.

Nick clenched his teeth. She was pushing him away again and he was done with it.

NICK: I’ll be there in a few. No reason for us both to drive.

SARAH: Please don’t. I’ll meet you there.

NICK: No. I’ll pick you up.

SARAH: It’s out of your way.

She had no idea where his meeting had been. She hadn’t asked. She never asked where he was going or how long he’d be gone. She didn’t ask him to pick anything up and wouldn’t go shopping with him. She preferred to have her groceries delivered. He wanted to do couple-things but obviously what he wanted didn’t matter.

NICK: It isn’t out of my way.

SARAH: Please. Don’t do this.

NICK: Why don’t you want me to pick you up?

He knew the answer but he wanted her to admit it. It took several minutes but she finally replied.

SARAH: I like having my car.

He almost threw his phone out the window. She’d let Peter drive her to the awards banquet but she didn’t trust him to get her home to her damn dog. He wanted to tell her to forget it. All of it. Him. Her. Them—even though to her there was no them. But he couldn’t. He was crazy about her. No, he was more than that. He was in love with her. It was a scary feeling but not nearly as scary as losing her.

NICK: Fine. See you there.

He felt like an idiot but he wasn’t giving up. She was crazy about him too. He only had to prove to her that she could trust him. That he wasn’t Adam, the dick. He wouldn’t knock her up and abandon her. He wouldn’t tell her he loved her and then change his mind.

He’d tell her he loved her now if he thought it’d make a difference but those words didn’t mean anything without trust. Unfortunately, he had no idea what else to do to prove to her that he was serious about them. He stayed at her place, slept in bed next to her, had sex with her and only her, cooked meals, helped clean the house and helped take care of her dog and yet, any time he tried to move the relationship a little further along, she pushed him away.

She’d refused to go with him to his mother’s house for brunch. His sister’s birthday was in a few weeks and when he’d asked her to go to the party with him, she’d, of course, said no. Sex was great. Better than great, even though he still couldn’t fuck her around the damn dog unless she was on top, but every time he tried to get her to do something couple-like she’d panic.

Of course—he shifted on his seat, tugging on his pants to give his swelling cock a little room—that led to some fantastic sex, always in the bathroom except once in the back seat of her car inside the garage.

He turned down the road toward his house instead of Sarah’s. He could go get her. Push the issue. Make her trust him enough to ride with him instead of driving herself. She had to learn that she could depend on him. He’d get her home to her dog on time, but that’d start things off on the wrong foot. He was pretty sure he was going to get to punish her tonight but he didn’t want to really fight, not tonight. They could argue tomorrow.

He pulled into his driveway and drove his car into the garage. He went inside the house and his feet froze as he turned on the light. He swayed, all the blood rushing to his cock. Sarah had better get here soon or he’d have to jerk off because tonight was going to be hot.
