As soon asour kiss becomes a little heated, moving toward what I hoped would be an amazing blowjob at a minimum, there’s a knock on my door.

“Fuck,” I curse quietly.

Trevor chuckles, but quickly gets out of the bed and adjusts his cock behind his pants. “Who is it?”

I look through the peephole and spot Jayden.

“It’s Jay.”

“Oh,” he replies, sitting back on the bed.

I open the door and Jayden says, “Have you seen Trevor?”

Taking a step back, I gesture toward the bed. “He’s here.”

Jayden pokes his head in and laughs. “Y’all motherfuckers are confusing as fuck. Do you hate each other, love each other? Who knows?”

He steps inside so I close the door and head to the other side of the bed. “Already calling it a night?” I ask.

“Yeah, Marcus and Deshawn got shit-faced, tryin’ to take shots like they were water. Me and Shea got them back to their rooms. They got babysitters, so don’t worry.” He takes a breath and moves to sit on the chair near the window. “So, since y’all are back together or whatever the hell this is, can we talk about next weekend? Or will y’all be off again by then?”

Me and Trevor laugh. “We’re gonna be fine,” he says, which has Jayden’s eyebrows raising, and my smile growing.

Another knock interrupts us before we can move onto the plans for Trevor’s birthday. When I pull the door open, Dex is on the other side.

“Hey. So this is where the party’s at.”

I snort. “Hardly a party.”

Dex walks in. “I see pizza.”

“Have at it.”

“Deshawn is throwing his guts up,” he says, right before taking a bite. “Not sure if he’s gonna be able to play off the hangover he’s definitely gonna have in the morning.”

“Marcus, too,” Jay adds. “Dumbasses.”

“You got plans for next Saturday?” Trevor asks Dex.

He shakes his head. “Nah, I don’t think so. Why?”

“Birthday plans,” Jay says with a grin. “Trev’s gonna be the big two one. We’re gonna head back to Toast, for sure. Get him on that damn bull,” he adds with a laugh. “And I don’t know, what do you think about going to Lily Pad?”

“What’s that?” I ask.

“It’s a gay bar,” Jay replies. “But I mainly wanted to ask you, because you’re like the only straight,” he tells Dex. The pause that follows feels eternal, but he adds. “Well, and Trevor. But you know, me, Ronan, Renzo, Dom…” He lets the sentence trail off before looking at Trevor. “You good with that too, or?”

Dex, completely and one-hundred percent oblivious, says, “I’m cool with it,” before biting off another huge chunk of pizza.

“Yeah, me too,” Trevor adds before sitting up. “Umm.” He rubs his hands together, and I settle in because I already know what he’s about to do. “Dex, I gotta tell you something.”

Dex spins away from the TV, his eyes focusing on Trevor. “What’s up?”

Mine and Jay’s eyes are bouncing from each other to the two of them.

Trevor eyes me, studying my face before his lips curl into a small smile. When he looks back at Dex, he says, “I’m gay.” Dex was about to take another bite, but his arms slowly drop down as his shell-shocked face is frozen on Trevor. Before he says anything, Trevor adds, “And me and Dominic kinda have a thing going on.”

Dex’s confused eyes fall to me, then he looks to Jay before focusing on Trevor again. “Um.” He laughs a little. “Is this a joke?”

Trevor shakes his head. “Nope. I can tell you the whole, long story if you want, but it basically boils down to me never feeling right when I was with girls, and knowing I found certain guys attractive, but not putting it together that I was gay. Then when things started becoming a little clearer, I just did what I could to keep from admitting it.”

“Like getting drunk and making out with a handful of girls,” Jay adds.

“Right,” Trevor says, shaking his head. “And Renzo and I had a minor little thing a while back. That really brought me around.”

Dex makes a noise that’s a mix of disbelief and a laugh. “What? Are you fucking with me? You and Renzo?”

His furrowed brows find Jay who just shrugs. “Renzo pulls ‘em all. The gays, the straights, the sister’s boyfriends, the friends. I don’t fucking know.”

I laugh at that, but Trevor keeps talking to him. “It was before he was with Ronan, and it wasn’t a big deal. I mean, it was, but only because it really solidified things for me, but it was a drunken thing and we didn’t allow it to ruin our friendship.”

Dex just shakes his head. “I’m just...I don’t know what I am. Is this what you meant when you said we all have secrets? This is why you didn’t say anything to Zo when you found out about me and Vi?”

Trevor nods. “It wasn’t my place. You were gonna tell him when you were ready, just like I was gonna tell people when I was ready.”

“Well, wow.” He looks at me. “You two, huh?”

I nod, chuckling. “That’s a whole different story.”

He nods. “Cool.” A brief pause as he looks at everyone. “So, we’re hitting the clubs next weekend?”

As Jay starts talking to him, I walk around the bed and bend down and place a kiss on Trevor’s lips as I cradle his face. “You’re making me feel things.”

He grins. “Good.”
