CHAPTER 10: Terry
“I’ll be right back.” Terry finished his drink. “Get me another.”
“I’ve got to get back to the Club.” Ethan waved the bartender over. “Get my friend another and I need to settle up.”
“I’ve got it.” Terry glanced toward the back where Maggie had disappeared. He had to stop his little rabbit from misbehaving.
“Thanks. Have fun.” Ethan grinned as he stood.
“Oh, I plan on it.” Terry walked over to the woman at Maggie’s station. “Excuse me, where are the restrooms?”
“Down there to the right.” Her eyes trailed over him as she pointed in the direction Maggie had gone.
“Do the employees use those facilities too?”
“Yes, but you’re not—”
“Thanks.” He strode through the restaurant. People often answered questions on instinct, not thinking just talking. He’d won many a case on that alone. He stepped into the men’s room and counted to five. He walked back into the hallway, glancing into the dining room. Perfect. The woman who was watching Maggie’s station was seating a group of six. He moved to the ladies’ room and pushed the door open a crack. “Maggie, you in there?”
“Terry?” she squeaked.
“Are you alone?”
“Go away.”
He opened the door and peeked inside. Only one stall was occupied and there was no one else in the room. He closed the door behind him. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lock. “You’d better not be taking out the Ben Wa balls.”
“You can’t be in here.”
“But I am.” He tapped on the stall. “Let me in and prove that you’re not being a naughty girl.”
“You’re going to get me fired.”
He hoped that happened. Then, they could be at his house fucking, but he knew better than to say that. “Not if you do as I say.” He tapped on the door again. “Hurry up. Some lady is bound to need to pee soon.”
