A Sneak Peek – What’s Next?

Bianca collapses on my chest, her hair tickling my skin as our breath mingles together. I’m instantly relaxed now, feeling the last vestiges of tension slide out of my veins, but I’m nowhere near done with her tonight.

Not even fucking close.

“Let’s not wait so long next time,” she murmurs after a few moments.

I tangle my hand in her hair and chuckle. “Yeah, let’s not. I feel like a sixteen-year-old again.”

Bianca lifts her head to meet my eyes, a soft smile on her face. “You don’t look like any sixteen-year-old I remember.”

Grinning, I rub my other hand over her bare back. There’s a lightness to me that I haven’t felt before and I know it’s because of her.

The ludicrous nature of that realization, given the circumstances, is not lost on me.

I’m supposed to kill her in three days.
