About the Author

Grace grew up on the Canadian prairies battling mosquitoes and freezing temperatures. She made her way south to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Michigan. She’s learned that the greater the effort, the sweeter the rewards. Currently, she and her family live in California, where their adventures include remodeling a ramshackle house, exploring the great outdoors, and sampling local artisanal goodies.
