Bad Daddy’s Forgotten Little by Mary Potter

CHAPTER FIVE

Jessie

Jack’s words hung in the air as everything around me grew distant around me.  I couldn’t believe what was happening.  Ryan had been cheating on me?  For how long?  The woman at Ryan’s side raised an eyebrow at me as she stood and examined me.

“You’re the reason why he was afraid to bring me by to meet the family?” she asked, a snobby look of disgust on her face.  “That’s ridiculous.  I’m a lot more of a woman than you’ll ever be.”  I stared at her in disbelief.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” I said, finally snapping out of my initial shock.  “You know what?  You can have that soap scum asshole.  He likely has some disease or something anyways after a little whore like you touched him.”  Both Jack and Ryan stared at me in shock as the bitch rose to her feet and stared me down.

“I don’t think it’s me who gave him the diseases,” she remarked as she stared at me.  “From what he told me, you were nothing more than an easy score he couldn’t get rid of.”  I shook my head at her in disbelief.

“Sounds like you overheard him talking about you, genius,” I retorted, and she shook her head.

“Fuck you, bitch!” she shouted as she rushed at me.  Before she could even reach me, Martin appeared out of nowhere and caught her midstride, keeping her as far from my reach as possible.  She turned and glared at him.  “Get your hands off me, you creep!”  Ryan started towards them, but Jack stopped him.

“You’re out of here!” Jack shouted as he pushed Ryan away from Martin.  "Go pack your shit and get the fuck off my land."  Ryan rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Fine," he agreed as he looked back at me.  "Come on, Jessie.  We're leaving."  Before I could even respond, Jack shook his head.

"Absolutely not," he snapped as he threw Ryan aside.  "She stays, but you go."  Ryan stopped and looked at Jack.

"You're kidding, right?" he asked as he stared Jack down.  "You're crazy!"  Jack shook his head.

"And you're a scumbag," he shouted as he stared down Ryan.  "Get the fuck out of here already."  Ryan stopped and looked at me before shaking his head.

"Fine," he snapped as he looked at the other woman.  "Come on, Hanna.  Let's get out of here."  The woman stopped and stared Ryan down.

"I'm not going anywhere with you," she protested.  "I'm going home."  With that, she looked at Jack.  "Will you take me to my car?  I'm parked on the far side of the fields."  Jack shook his head at her.

"Ryan got you here," he snapped as he looked at her.  "He can take you home without my horse."  With that, Jack marched over, snatched the reins of Thunder, and started towards one of the empty stalls.  "You'll have five minutes to get the fuck out of here before I call the cops."  With that, he looked at Martin.  "Can you please take Jessie into the farmhouse?"  Martin nodded and then turned to me, a gentle look in his eyes.

"Come on, Jessie," he told me, and I nodded in agreement as I followed him into the farmhouse.

I still couldn't believe that Ryan had been cheating on me.  After all he had done, he now did this?  I hated myself as I shook my head.  Seeing the way Martin was acting, I knew better than to bother him at this point.  If I upset him, it was likely that I would be kicked out as well.  As we entered the farmhouse, the entire room erupted in chaos, and Auntie Gracie raced out to stop them.

"Leave her alone," Auntie Gracie ordered as she looked at each and every one in the room.  She then wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into a hug.  "I'm so sorry, dearie.  Come on.  Let's go clean out your room of Ryan's things."  Martin frowned in confusion at her.

"Who said she gets Ryan's room?" he demanded, and Auntie Gracie shook her head.

"Back down," she warned as she looked at Martin.  "I won’t have you causing any more trouble for her than has already been created at this point.”  Martin raised an eyebrow at Auntie Gracie, but he didn’t dare say anything.  As he left the room, Auntie Gracie looked back at me.  “Come on.  Let’s go clean up.”  I nodded in agreement and followed her upstairs to the room I had shared with Ryan.

The whole way up the stairs, I wanted to cry.  It just wasn’t fair that I had lost Ryan this way.  I never thought it possible that he would cheat on me, especially with a woman who clearly wasn’t a Little.  How could I have been so stupid?  Not every man out there was meant to be a Daddy.  He probably got bored of the life of a Daddy and decided to try to have a normal relationship.  Without me, of course.

“Are you okay?” Auntie Gracie asked as she stared at me.  I shook my head at her.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do now,” I admitted as I looked at her.  “Everyone here hates me because of what happened to Martin.”  Auntie Gracie shook her head.

“No one hates you, dearie,” she said as she looked at me.  “Everything’s going to be okay.”  I shook my head as I looked at her.

“Where am I going to go?” I asked as I stared at her with tears in my eyes.  “I know they won’t want me here any longer.”  Before she could answer, the door flew open, and Jack crossed his arms as he stared at me.

“Of course we will,” he said as he then looked at Auntie Gracie.  “Will you allow me a minute alone with her, please?”  Auntie Gracie raised an eyebrow at him.

“I better not hear anything happened to her,” she warned as she left the room, leaving me alone with Jack.
